Robust! LOOve that!
Rambunctious robust retrosexual ... um, need a noun that starts with R.
Argle barge morble whoosh
Yes dear, that is the constant noise you keep hearing which comes from your own Pro-islamo-fascist warped mind.
Try standing for awhile and relax your brain below.
Anyway, some of the Seattle pools periodically rent out the pools to nudist groups for their swims and have done so for years. If a group wants to be modest it seems like they would have a right to that just as those in their birthday suits have their rights. As long as each pays, of course.
Renegade. Rebel. Regent. Ringleader. Rear admiral (oops--- better not bring your rear into this discussion...)(Or mine either, m'dear...)
I just love your sense of humor, honey.
I read it. In France when they banned the Hijab they banned Jewish skullcaps and large crosses, but everyone knew who the law was directed to.
As a matter of information, while some Orhodox Jewish women may not swim with men, they wear ordinary bathing suits when they swim separately. And in US there are private facilities which do cater to special rules of Orthodox Jews, but to my knowledge no public ones.
From the article:
"When they swim, the women wear three-quarter-length pants spandex or free-flowing garments covering their bodies from navel to knees"
"or free-flowing garments" is nothing like the pictures you have posted, and that type of garment poses a danger to themselves and others. Second, the fact that swimsuits looked different in the past is no argument for their safety. Cars looked different then too. Now they all have seatbelts and airbags.
Ravishing. Radical!
" I just love your sense of humor, honey."
Oh shucks, thanks. BTW Hillary just put another gold star next your name. LOL !
LOL, as a woman I wouldn't mind that myself. It's a lot less shaving to do!
I didn't post any pictures. The pics are not from the article.
It's discriminatory against the male lifeguards who are denied their right to work as a result. /sarcasm
Yeah, I've seen that. They seem to think that women's bodies are bad or indecent, hence the cover-up.
Having lived in the Middle East, I can tell you that having to be covered up doesn't stop the Muslim women who live there. They'll go into the water fully clothed!
I admire that. I hate the feeling of wet fabric, but I think it's kinda cool.
Somewhere in the 6000+ photos I have stored on my hard disk is a photo of a Muslim woman swimming in full garb at the Wild Wadi water park in Dubai! I'll post it if I can find it.
Rousing, romping, rambunctious, right-thinking...
The adjectives are easy. It's the nouns...
There are a lot of touristas here that I wish WOULD COVER UP! Some people should be FORBIDDEN to wear Spandex!.......
"Wild Wadi"? LOL! I have friends from the Navy who spent a couple of years in Dubai; they all had a great time.
I never said you posted actual pictures from the article.
But you and others have repeatedly compared pictures of "quaint" old bathing suit styles to the current garb of the bathing Muslim women. Not so per the article. The Muslim women may wear "flowing garments."
I'll go get the Unabridged.
Ah, yes the Tuaregs. It's the men that veil their faces, not the women. They actually practice a sort of folk Islam. Men and women mix freely and they are matrilineal.
