I have been thinking about this duct tape with the hair evidence and it seems a bit suspicious to me. It has been reported that this evidence was found based on a tip. And it was found on the opposite side of the island from where Joran and Natalee were supposed to be. This is the second ‘tip’ that has been received about something suspicious on that side of the island. The first was a possible ‘temporary gravesite’ not far from where the duct tape was found. Hmmm…two tips close together diverting attention to the opposite side of the island.

Although Fox News and perhaps others reported this as a tip, the duct tape w/strands of hair attached was not found due to a tip. The park ranger supposedly was doing his normal clean up of the area and ran across the dry, fresh duct tape w/strands of hair attached.

Then there is the bone that was found on 07/06/05 that has never (as far as anyone knows) been inspected to determine if it’s human or other animal. A bone found within ½ mile of the place where Joran and Natalee were supposed to be. Hmmm...you have a bone in the vicinity of the location of interest and nearly two weeks later no identification? This is problematic in my opinion.

You can add another unidentified bone to the mix.

Jennifer Fornaro found bone on Aruban shore found a bone that was between 2 rocks. Ms. Fornaro turned the bone into the Nord police. Ms. Fornaro said the bone was gray, looked like a joint bone, perhaps 5 to 6 inches long with white tissue still on it. There was also a 2nd bone that someone else had taken to the Nord police. Jennifer Fornaro showed Equusearch members where she had found the bone.

ALE still has not gotten back with Ms. Fornaro.

I think what you saw was Beth saying the hairbrush was returned to her at around the same time the duct-tape and hairs showed up. I got the impression she had given it to (what passes for) LE in case DNA was needed.

There seems to be a great deal of confusion as to how the duct tape was discovered. I have heard more than once it came from a 'tip' from someone who was walking in that area and found it. Who knows the truth about how it was found??? Misinfomation??? Hmmm.

Was the 'other' bone the one they claimed was a donkey bone? That's what I was thinking when she said that last night. She didn't say it, that's just what I was thinking.

Greta/or one of the reporters on her show or Nancy Grace's last night mentioned the possibility that the anonymous tip to Aruban LE came from people sick of the way things were going. If the duct tape has Van der sloot's fingerprints on it, papa or son, then it's evidence of a crime and enough for a charge. Do you think they've decided to sacrifice Joran, et al, for the tourist trade? Sad if that's so. I'd prefer that Natalee had a hand in this from wherever she is. If the Kalpoe bros. prints are on the duct tape, Joran could say he didn't do it and get off? Their justice system is so screwy, it's hard to predict...I think you can be tried twice, too. Double jeopardy no problem.

Surely these people would not be so foolish as to try and accuse Beth of constucting false evidence!?! What possible good would it do her? She wants the truth not vigilante justice. I hope that's not what they are trying to do here!!!

TK, did the FBI take a sample of the hair before the ALEO supposedly sent it to Holland?

Lets hope and pray that they did. But if the evidence was planted, sheesh!!I see reports that they didn't send it yet. I swear, if I were Beth I would be in their face about this. Actually I wouldn't trust them with any evidence at this point.

I wonder if the Holloway's could hire someone to do the forensic tests on future things found? What happened with the two bones that were found and turned in?

WCG I don't know if the Twittys can afford someone to do the forensic tests, according to Jug last night on Greta, they just hired a PI this past weekend. Perhaps some good samaritan could volunteer.

I don't know if I read the hair brush, etc. correctly. But I think that they were referring to ALE planting evidence, not Beth.

I will have to go back and reread.

I watched Greta tonight. I was touched when Jug choked up a bit thanking Greta for all she has personally done. She fluffed it right off, saying that all the media did the same, bla bla bla, but that is NOT true. Greta may have singlehandedly gotten that scrutiny on Paulus back when. She has been an amazing trouper through this case, and indeed Natalee could have been forgotten w/o Greta's constant attention.

Greta is doing an excellent job on this case. I'm so glad she got out of the studio and started going after the stories where they occur. It spices up her program a great deal.

She is so modest, always brushing off praise. And her blog is interesting reading. Where else could you find photos of the very tacky International School of Aruba, which would not pass a property codes inspection anywhere in the United States? An exclusive school? Baloney! No wonder Goon Joran got good grades there--if their grading standards are anything like their standards for safety and cleanliness.

Ayway, Greta, if you read here, you are doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work!
