From all the interviews of her friends I've seen on BOR and Greta they say that Natalee was not drunk or drinking overly. But this could just be them, all being drunk and have gone overboard in that dept., covering for everyone.

The male MB student (Edward Kissel) that was interviewed by Bill O'Reilly has said more than any of them.

Tragic Trip? - Bill O'Reilly

ED KISSEL, FRIEND OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY: I think I saw her a little later that night. I had stayed in Carlos 'n Charlie's pretty long, and I saw her dancing with Van Der Sloot later that night.

O'REILLY: Now, did you know Van Der Sloot? Did -- how did you know who he was?

KISSEL: I didn't know him, but I had seen -- he had been around the hotel and the casino with her and with her friends, her closer friends, just hanging out around the hotel for the last few days, two or three days.

O'REILLY: All right. So Natalee obviously knew him, then, was familiar with him. And when you saw him dancing with her, that didn't set off any bells. Was Natalee intoxicated, in your opinion?

KISSEL: I wouldn't say so. We were all having a good time. I'd go so far as to say that, but I wouldn't say intoxicated.

O'REILLY: She was drinking?

KISSEL: Drinking responsibly is what I would say.

O'REILLY: All right.

KISSEL: Along with the rest of us.

O'REILLY: Now, did you see her get into a car with Van Der Sloot and these two other guys?

KISSEL: I did not see her getting in the car. I saw her leaving, looked like with Van Der Sloot. I didn't see her getting in the car. You couldn't really see the road from inside the bar, so that is what I saw.

O'REILLY: But nothing set off any alarm bells for you, Ed? You didn't -- you weren't concerned or anything like that?

KISSEL: No. I wasn't personally concerned about anything. From what I've heard, I heard people talk about him and he sounded like a nice guy. So I didn't think any big deal.

I personally had ridden in the car over there. I made friends with one of the waiters. I'm fluent in Spanish, and you know, I was friends with somebody. And so I was thinking, you know, I rode in a car with somebody, she rides in the car with somebody, no big deal. I didn't think about it.

Look at who is in the picture... (dressed in full white and on the left side of the picture - isn't that the gal who is the lawyer and is on Greta's show all the time?) -

Yes, Arlene Ellis Schipper.

I wonder why the change in the case, is it because Van Der Straaten is gone now?

Nancy Grace:

FBI will have access to all the info of the case. They (the FBI) will not be able to interrogate.

The involvement of the FBI is that the ALE will be able to utilized the FBI equipment per Dave Holloway.

Dave Holloway was not so hard on Delta Airlines as Jug. Dave said that Delta was able to help him with his ticket.

Discussion of chain of custody problems with the prosecutor carring the dna (hair, etc.) to the lab. In this country the prosecutor could be removed from the case for handling the evidence prior to a trial.

With the news that the FBI will be given more access to the investigation do you think AVDS is having to do a lot of mopping tonight?

Did I miss something. What is this about Joran being shoeless.

From SM:

Anna wrote: Maybe Joran threw away his shoes because something bad was one them. Later when he is telling his story about walking home, he forgets he has disposed of them or thinks they will never know what shoes he was wearing.

Perhaps the shoes had vomit/blood something incriminating on them. Weren't security tapes checked for him walking by by Beth early on? I don't mean just for him but didn't she go and look at various security tapes right away looking for anything that would help?

Also, I sort of doubt Natalee had enough experience drinking to know much about proof. I don't think many 18 year olds do, just strong or really good or will really get you wasted sort of knowledge. Not chemical analysis nor forensic details of contents of each and every drink they might consume.

I'm with you on this anna. Confusing why he admits he was shoeless...did Deepak spill the beans on this?

Nancy Grace is now saying that some of the hair strands were 4 inches in length instead of 12 inches.

For the love of God, didn't the prosecutor know that this could be a problem?

Also, Investigator hired by Twitty's (TJ ?) reported natalie was drinking shots of 151 proof liquor.

That's hard to believe. 151 is pretty potent stuff. HArd to imagine someone that supposedly drank little, being able to drink SHOT(S) of 151, especially someone so petite as Natalee. It would explainn her eyes seeming heavy though.

I lightened the larger pic and the person at the end of the bar appears to have a red top on.

I don't think that the FBI will be involved the way that we would like to see them involved.

According to an on the ground CNN reporter the FBI was with the ALE when the ALE searched the VDS's home.

See post #1329 Dave Holloway's comment regarding the FBI's near future involvment.

I will post the transcript as soon as it is on the net tonight.

Dash doesn't want to speculate, then speculates.

LOL

I caught that, too. At any rate, IF someone did buy her drinks, that didn't mean she had to drink them. Anyone witness someone FORCING her to drink shots of 151?
