Thank you. Interesting thought about what you said regarding Clement's maritime law experience - the UN trying to implement new restrictions regarding international waters. (I'm sorry but I cannot remember the acronym for it!)
Between a judge conversant in adjudicating such law and Bolton in the UN cleaning house, this could be a tag team that effectively looks out for American interests.
It is very aptly named: LOST. Some say that stands for Law of the Sea Treaty but I think the name stands for itself.
Apologies if someone answered this one already. I'm not even halfway through this thread yet. You are probably referring to the Law of the Sea Treaty. Bush has come out in favor of this and I've yet to figure out why exactly. Both Cato and Heritage are curious, as well. I haven't studied it thoroughly, but at first glance it appears to have underwater Kyoto Protocol implications. If anyone knows more, please feel free to add info.
