Although my original post was made tongue in cheek, the truth is I have never met a Mormon I did not entirely respect for his honesty, hard work and commitment to community. I grew up in western New York State not far from Palmyra, home of the Mormon prophet Joseph Smith and site of his visions.

Boy, my prediction about Orrin Hatch was way off!!! I guess this country is just not ready for a Mormon Supreme Court Justice.
Next I'll predict we'll put a man on Mars by 2015.
