I'm an atheist, and it's getting up my nose, too. The only group I hear constantly harping on religion is the Left, and they're trying to scare me with it. I see no evidence people on the right are trying to impose religion on anyone (though their opinions are informed by their religion, but that's not at all the same thing).

I'm Unitarian and it's too much for me too. The left seems "oh so tolerant" of any religion other than Christianity. The left's eyes shut, brain closed bigotry is getting old...

Do you notice how they sneer when they say "Christian" in person? Replace "Christian" with "Jew" to get the full effect.

The difference between the Left and those of us "zealots" is that we actually believe that the state should brandish the sword and the Church the Gospel! Not the state uber alles.
