She called the Hamilton unrest an important moment for local Hispanics, churches, police and public officials., Isn't this an *important moment* for the American citizen resident of Hamilton also? Or don't they count for anything anymore?

Er, I don't generally buy into these "latin studies/womens studies/blah blah blah" types, but some of those local Hispanics ARE American citizen residents.
