Anybody else watching the Senate on CSPAN 2? Reid just had his "Carl Rove' amendment to the Homeland Security funding bill read and spoke for about five minutes bashing Rove and Bush.
THEN, the clerk read an amendment proposed by Bill Frist that any office holder who discloses classified FBI information on the Senate floor and uses it to denigrate the U.S. military should have HIS security clearence removed. DURBIN alert!
Wow! Great stuff. Turn on CSPAN 2 immediately!
Frist is doing the same as Reid did but he has the advantage, since the Dems put their ammendment in and started this foolishness.
He wants to make sure they've quoted him correctly.
Absolutely! Give credit where credit is due. For all the times we have to be up their butts to try to insert a spine, we have to be pleased when they show some backbone on their own! Now, hopefully they can see what happens when you stand up to obnoxious blowhards and call their bluff.....you actually get things accomplished! Now we just need it to bleed over to judicial confirmations!

That's why the Dems are not being allowed to hold Majority power. they would abuse it, as they abuse minority position.If the Democrats want to talk about trust, there is no better example of their lack of Faith in Democrats than the fact they are the minority and will be even further the minority in '06.

I like what I saw today. We didn't have one thing to do with this move today. this was ALL Frist and the Senate Republicans. I'm impressed. I want them to keep this up.
I knew it wouldn't be long before the Stalinists on the Left appropriated the "t-word" to blunt its power.
But they've yet to explain to us what it is they love about, racist, sexist, homobophic, imperialist America, aye?
