Anybody else watching the Senate on CSPAN 2? Reid just had his "Carl Rove' amendment to the Homeland Security funding bill read and spoke for about five minutes bashing Rove and Bush.
THEN, the clerk read an amendment proposed by Bill Frist that any office holder who discloses classified FBI information on the Senate floor and uses it to denigrate the U.S. military should have HIS security clearence removed. DURBIN alert!
Wow! Great stuff. Turn on CSPAN 2 immediately!

Durbin sure does go to the Al Jazeera site a lot, doesn't he?
just posted in other trhead:
In case anyone missed it: The Novak Exception II (Schumer VOTED AGAINST 1982 Law Prohibiting Identifying CIA Agents) Then Congressman Chuck ("The Schmuck") Schumer was one of only 56 who voted AGAINST the law prohibiting revealing the names of CIA agents. From the WSJ: (March 2004)
"All of which puts an interesting tint on the selective outrage we've been hearing. New York Senator Chuck Schumer was one of the first to claim shock over the Novak column, indignantly thundering how the leak "was tantamount to putting a gun to that agent's head." That's interesting, because as Congressman Schumer he was one of only 56 to vote against the law whose sacral character he now invokes."
Thanks a million for this info1

"I can't believe our Senate is discussing this after the London terrorist attacks." Liberals are obviously having trouble with the whole "patriotism" thing. Lunatics can blow up civilians all across the planet and it never occurs to the advanced liberal brain that throwing them in the clink and kicking their a$$es on occasion might be a good thing.
They're fruitcakes.

AHHH Sessions pointing out that the Dem ammendment is ex post facto, which is what Turban said the FRIST ammendment was. HA HA!

I'm gonna guess that both ammendments will fail.

Liberals remind me of the Kibbles and Bits commercials. "Karl Rove, Karl Rove, Gotta get me some Karl Rove."
