" Ever since the first Gulf War] there has been a small cabal of zealots in Washington who have been driving an agenda designed to overthrow Saddam Hussein, not because he has weapons of mass destruction, not because he may or may not be linked to terrorism, but because they want to establish a beachhead in the Arab world from which to work to change the political map of the Arab world and essentially ensure Israel 75 more years of security by enfeebling the Arab governments that are arrayed against it." Sounds like a good plan to me.

The more the MSM employees play with themselves getting off over this Plame thing the more it's obvious:
Today's MSM employees are skid marks on journalism's shorts. Journalism needs to washout the feces stains, the stench is embarrassing the Nation.

They choose this specific angle as a projection. The real issue in this whole case is that there are people like Wilson and Scummer in positions with a security clearance where they can do extreme damage to the country...therefore they must assume an offensive posture on removing the security clearance of people who are the threat to those who actually should have their security clearance removed.
It is their favorite tactic...if your candidate has a military record that might be a problem, create a perception of a problem for the other guy's military record and get out on the attack first.

This is so over the top and transparent that it is pathetic. Does Schmuck Chewer seriously think the American people are worried that Rove is going to start outing CIA officials? The Rat strategy is if you jump up and down and scream about some obviously phoney issue, people will be fooled into thinking it must be true and important. It may work on 5% of voters, but 40% will think you are nuts. The rest don't give a damn.

Iraq built weapons of mass destruction because it was surrounded by a nuclear armed IsraelA former ambassador, Wilson is well known (not) for his awesome grasp of geography, isn't he? Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, huh...

Does anyone know the statutory reference that allegedly prohibits the disclosure of a covert CIA operative? Its like the weather, I hear it talked about a lot, but never see it quoted...

"Iraq built weapons of mass destruction because it was surrounded by a nuclear armed Israel" Surrounded? By Israel? Good one.
Um, so when Iraq was dropping scuds into Israel in the Gulf War, was Israel the aggressor? Did Israel, that rapacious and aggressive neighbor, respond to the scud attacks?
Lastly..."We need to remember in all of this that Iraq did not build weapons of mass destruction because the United States was an enemy - Iraq built weapons of mass destruction because it was surrounded by a nuclear armed Israel.."
It seems that Joe Wilson also believed that Iraq had WMDs...so much for "Bush lied".

The Vermont Democrat's Iran-Contra leak was considered to be one of the most serious breaches of secrecy in the committee's 10-year history.I forgot about Leaky Leahy. I guess it's because the democrats don't have to follow American laws. They follow China's laws.
