If anyone wants to know why they no longer have anyone's attention, they might consider: Out here in flyover country, we give very short shrift to ego maniacs in DC. You'd think that Valerie Plame twit was the most important person in DC. when in actuality, she was of less importance than a lowly file clerk.
What I'd like to know is when is the MSM going to do a good story on the best plumber in America? Air conditioning repairman? The people who really matter in making this country function.
What with "campaign finance reform" and (in broadcasting) the actual licensing of journalism, First Amendment law is in a complete shambles.Maybe Karl Rove should resign . . . and spend the next few years suing the socks off of the illegitimate Objective JournalismTM Establishment for insinuating that he had broken the law in blowing the whistle on the Plame/Wilson fraud.
Rove should claim that every dime spent promoting the fraudulent Plame/Wilson fairy tale is an undeclared campaign contribution to the Democratic Party. In attacking Republicans while claiming to be objective and promoting laws which violate the First Amendment rights of everyone outside of their illegitimate Establishment, journalism behaves as a single, corrupt, organization. One which should be hit with a RICO lawsuit for triple damages.
