While we rub elbows with Canada and Mexico, Russia and China are throwing olive branches at each other and making inroads with Cuba, South America and other countries which include supplying them with military arms and other "incentives" for their loyalty. No doubt both Russia and China are "thinking ahead."
I see you posted this early. It's too funny -- we were just watching TV when the local ABC news ad came on and said "new pictures of the bombers tonight at 11:00".
This is one sentence that should be read slowly and absorbed totally. Could be anywhere, anytime. We must be cautious about who is around us and even what time of day we do things (like fill up the gas tank). They will use whatever opportunity they have to take out the maximum amount of lives.
News to me. THANKS Velveeta.

"Incidents intensify hospital vigilance
People under various guises tried to gain access to Jersey facilities in recent months - Page 1"
Saturday, July 16, 2005
BY ANGELA STEWART
Star-Ledger Staff
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "New Jersey hospitals are on heightened alert, authorities acknowledged yesterday, as the result of several suspicious incidents involving people trying to enter hospitals under false pretenses.
Bulletins have been issued by the New Jersey Office of Counter-Terrorism, in addition to other law enforcement agencies, telling hospitals to be vigilant. However, authorities stressed there has been no specific threat of terrorism against New Jersey hospitals."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Caspersen stressed that hospitals need to be alert and ready to assist law enforcement when encountering persons from any background acting strangely.
"They should try to get as much information as they can on their identity before they leave. Get us a tag number, name, driver's license number. Get us something to follow up on," he said."

I was just reading this article and thought to myself that they've taken suicide bombings to a whole new level with this horrific combination. You're right, we have to be on alert even when doing what used to be considered everyday normal activities. How long before street level suicide bombers start here? How many willing fanatics do they have and how many were inspired by the London terrorists?
my pleasure
LOL, must follow FR, unless you want today's news tomorrow. ;-)

That's interesting Velveeta.
Have you turned that in already?
"Could be anywhere, anytime."
And that is EXACTLY why I posted that.
We at TM did know about the earlier incident, just not the 7/7 incident.
Holy cow, I just typed 7/7 and realized that this occurred the same day as the London bombings.
Nope, just found it and haven't turned it in.
Please feel free to do so.
I think you have a direct line. LOL
"We at TM did know about the earlier incident"
Im not sure which incident you are referring to
You got that right! We must exercise caution everywhere we go and whatever we do. It's not paranoia, but common sense.
We need to get better at identifying people as well. I've been to seminars where 10 people are asked to describe someone who walked by a couple of minutes previous. All 10 on stage gave different descriptions of the person. Now would be a good time to train yourself to become observant and practice until you are very good at observation. It couldn't hurt!
Oh boy.
"The shotgun was locked on a rack bolted inside the car. The rack was also taken. Other items reported stolen from the car include ammunition for the shotgun, a Taser gun with one cartridge, a police raid jacket with a cloth Layton police badge sewn on it, a small Stinger flashlight, Bushnell binoculars and leather gloves."
Things you'll not soon hear in the MSM.
From your last link:
>>>The plot, according to uncorroborated information provided by an FBI informant, involves a man, described as an Arab who goes by the nickname "El Espanol," and Ernesto Zatarin Beliz, also known as El Traca, a reputed Mexican drug trafficker and member of the Zetas, the feared enforcers of the notorious Gulf cartel.
"El Espanol is gathering truck drivers with knowledge of truck routes in the United States and explosive experts" in the state of Coahuila, according to the March 11 memo, which originated in the San Diego FBI office and was made available by a U.S. attorney's office. The informant "believes that the activity in Coahuila, Mexico, is terrorist related."<<<
This incident, reiterated in the same NJ article:
>>>The incident at Newton occurred March 27, Easter Sunday, around 4:45 p.m. when three men of "Middle Eastern appearance" identified themselves as doctors and requested a tour of the hospital and emergency department, which recently had expanded. The individuals also asked questions about the facility's bed capacity, services and hospital directory, speaking fluent English.<<<
Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was something else that happened on 7/7.

"KKK Chief Testifies About 1979 Shootings"
Updated: Saturday, Jul. 16, 2005 - 8:23 PM
By ESTES THOMPSON
Associated Press Writer
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - A Ku Klux Klan leader who was at a workers' rally more than 25 years ago where five people died and 10 others were injured gave defiant testimony to a commission Saturday, saying "maybe God guided the bullets."
Virgil L. Griffin of Mount Holly, imperial wizard of the Cleveland Knights of the KKK, said someone in the crowd of Communist Workers Party marchers fired first and hit a van driven by a Klansman.
"We had every right to drive down that street with nobody touching the cars," he said. "I didn't come to shoot or kill anybody."
Griffin spoke before the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission, an effort modeled on similar commissions in South Africa and Peru.
The commission is investigating the deaths at the Nov. 3, 1979, march organized by the Communist Workers Party that ended when members of the Klan and the American Nazi Party opened fire.
The commission is meeting without the support of city leaders in Greensboro, and it has no authority to pursue criminal or civil claims or grant immunity from them."
