The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Hello, fellow freepers. There seems to be heavy C130 flyings over the Dallas, and Acworth, Georgia areas this evening. I've seen several passes just before dark and one has passed over my house at least four times in the past half hour, quite low for them. Anyone know what is up?

after todays tape, look the GUN HASNT CHANGED POSITION, AM I RIGHT OR NOT? BUT, what I noticed was he was VERY Animated. As in talking with his hands, yknow? Different from his others where hes just chilled and talking with a carpet on his shoulder.. This time, it seemed like he was speaking very emphatically. Correct me if i'm wrong. And this is only from a few seconds on CNN.

Explodingpez...I heard one of them! I was doing laundry and heard the plane overhead and mentioned to my daughter who was going to sleep that that was a very loud plane. It was around 10PM and it seemed very strange at that time of night. I am in Acworth myself.

damn, it was a simple fr post but seems like the nation may be under more guard tonight. Let's hope for the best, must have been loud enough at that time of night for an eyebrow raiser.. Who knows what extra security has been implemented after today's tape. those flyby's may be one.

A "we told you so" won't particularly matter if a city or multiple cities are devastated due to the ease of entry into the belly of the eagle (US). People are angry about the number of military deaths these days. Can't imagine the emotion of the masses if OBL is clearly shown on American soil after illegal entry prior to even worse attacks.

Hi Orrangotang. I'm north of Toronto basically. Not far at all though. I think 2 days ago was really an accident.. I dont think their agenda would start with a airplane crash where everybody survives.

But i was cruising fr's headlines for a sec and ran across it.

IMHO the only country doing a good job security-wise with airlines is El-Al - period!
