This is interesting, but hardly new. While flying Lufthansa to Austria in February, there was the availabiilty to access the net. The price was absurd, something like $50.00 to stay connected, but it was available.
I think the next issue is going to be the ability to have a full size laptop fold into the size of a business card holder, with a full size screen, which gives complete privacy.
(not those silly useless goggles) The idea is to make computers so portable they are as ubiquitous to a people's always carry "stuff" as a wrist watch or wallet.
And the unsuspecting Mulim businessman's computer case, made of plastic explosive, explodes in mid-air at a WI-FI signal bounced off a sattellite from somewhere in Muslimloonistan.
Ain't technology cool.
