It was militant Islamic terrorists that did it. Their motivation was drawn from Islamic principles and conducted by followers of Islam. Trying to pretend that Islam had nothing to do with it is just sticking your head in the sand. You can't even pretend it is motivated by poverty or ignorance. Many of the terrorists are wealthy and have advanced degrees. It is a matter of the jihadi attitude that Islam must dominate the whole damn world. They have no desire to peacefully co-exist.

Oh well the same fluff was said by hair splitting politicians after 9/11. Ok not all Muslims approve of terrorism, most are too busy busting their butts trying to make a buck. But at the same time Muslims by their relative silence and weak statements have given the nod to jihadis that they'll get little flack from the Muslim community in Europe or America. Most of the weak statements have been of the save yo ass type....oh Islam doesn't condone this behavior, and they will pull out a passage from the Quran. But child, look at all those passages where the Quran, the Hadith and the rest of Islamic scripture or pseudo scripture urges such actions.
Damn, this is one paranoid thread. Should the Brits have nuked all the Catholics after the first IRA attack? I lived in England for 2 years, and I met and had a pint with more than a few Muslims in that period. Who knew they were all blood-thirsty savages bent on taking over the world? Gimme a break.
