We had very strict rules also CG. The one thing we always watched for, particularly me, was whether the kid could converse with you at ease and actually look you in the eye. Those guys that couldn't hold my gaze or wouldn't talk (perhaps get a grunt), were no no's. My son I didn't worry about quite as much.

And I do agree with jan, there is always something that can happen that you cannot forsee. For instance in Natalee's case, she was described as a very cautious girl, yet if a drug is popped in your drink, you are no longer able to be cautious. I honestly think Natalee was "disabled" in some way. Her girlfriends said she would have NEVER left with 3 guys alone.

I think that the urge to protect someone of one's own community, even in such a situation as this, is worldwide. Look at Teddy Kennedy! Mary Jo certainly did not get any justice.

Just reported on Fox, F16's did not find any trace of Natalee Holloway and they also said that they were convinced she was no longer on the Island ...........HUH? NO LONGER ON THE ISLAND? Utoh

Mary Jo certainly did not get any justice.

The really sad part is, her parents forgave TK and didn't push for an investigation or anything.

The parents just wanted to put the whole thing behind them. [Unlike Mrs. Moxley. Good for her.]

Think about it. Why would the VDS's keep a dead body on their property considering the alleged statement of PVDS' 'no body, no crime'.

I know Neenah, Scientology is about as evil as it gets. It's also rediculous. Unfortunately, it attracts a lot of those with money because the guy who started it saw a great opportunity to make money. I have read stuff on Scientology that would curl your hair. They also murder if one crosses them. It is apparently the reason that Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman split. She had had enough. And it's obvious what's it is doing to Tom Cruise. He is losing it for sure.

In all due respect, many of the posters here have already established their credentials and their good intentions. If and when they slip up and make an error due to quick typing or excited thinking, those of us that know them see what they are intending to say...we aren't here to discourage but to encourage (i.e. don't pick nits).

That's why most, though good-hearted and well-intentioned, tend to ignore folks who are not looking for the truth but instead are trying to disrupt the thread for their own egotistical purposes.

It's not that the folks here don't mind being interrupted, but it depends on whether the interrupter is constructive or destructive.
