Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Dredson and other countries. We were at war with both Japan and Germany. Both countries were legitimate targets in that there respective governments had declared war on us. The Bombing of targets by us was to disrupt there war making caperbilities, by the targeting of the industries. Yes there was a aspect of terror in the targeting of a number of cities. To break the will of both the Japanese and German people. To frighten them from there homes and so hinder both countries war making capabilities by frightening or killing key skilled workers.

By the way it didn't work to well.

This act was carried out like other acts by a loose affiliation of Terrorist organistions which happen to be Islamic.

These terrorist like most other terrorist care not for human life, christain, Muslim Jewish, all they care about is taking life. So targeting a city because it is predomintely muslim will have no effect on them whats so ever. We Bombed German cities on German soil Killing German Civilians who were working to maintain the German War effort, making them legitimate targets. Bombing Damascus and killing thousands of people who are not taking part in the war, not producing goods or munitions to fuel that war, where there is no concentrated civilian effort to fight the war.
