The Schiavo Autopsy Results: Terri Dailies July 6
Accuracy in Media-Media Monitor ^ | July 6, 2005 | Cliff Kincaid

Posted on 07/06/2005 10:50:06 AM PDT by 8mmMauser

Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said…"

After claiming there WAS no estate. And she'd been dead only 4 hours. In a hurry for nothing? I don't think so.

Everyone has an 'estate' of some sort, even if it is only their immediate personal possessions. There is nothing out of the ordinary about making necessary legal arrangements.

Common sense says otherwise.

Funny how 'common sense' tells you things for which there are absolutely no evidence.

"I'm afraid you're right."

And you are frightening for agreeing with someone who called the 90% of Freepers that are concerned about Terri's case "nuts", meaning crazy or mentally ill by any definition. That is slanderous, not to mention an immature tactic used by a juvenile when they can not win a argument.

I thought we were getting somewhere by convincing people that this is a State issue and now I find you are encouraging people who simply want to insult people here.

I am disappointed.

Yes, but investigations have to yield evidence. You're asserting facts with no evidence, and on this thread we're told that he must "prove" his innocence.

He'd already testified that he'd melted down her wedding rings and made a ring for himself. She had no personal possesions in the room.

There is nothing out of the ordinary about making necessary legal arrangements.

How many people get acces to a judge 4 hours after the death? Just the callous ones in a hurry.

Funny how 'common sense' tells you things for which there are absolutely no evidence.

Again. There is NOTHING that clears him either.

Good logical reasoning, Freedom,Dignity.

The kind of deductive reasoning that eludes trolls who are hellbent on seeing death.

Yes, but investigations have to yield evidence.

After there are suspicious circumstances there is an investigation. There are SUSPICIONS first.

You're asserting facts with no evidence,

Really? I said REPEATEDLY that the circumstances are SUSPICIOUS. Any facts I've given are part of public record. I also said that no one but Schiavo knows what happened. Post 539 for one. Don't try to twist what I've said.

There is ZERO evidence that he did nothing to cause her collapse.

You might try to wrap your mind around the concept of "innocent until proven guilty". Your failure to grasp this is rather disturbing.

In the police report, it was listed that Schiavo had a number of drugs in the kitchen, prescribed by a psychiatrist. Interesting. The "innocent" man was having mental "issues".

Taking prescribed psychiatric medication makes one guilty of a crime?

That is a choice for the patient to make themselves, though.

Then why have you been insisting that the choice must be made an estranged husband, a corrupt judge, or anyone else who wants the patient dead? Why wasn't it okay to honor Terri's wish to live? Why is it only okay to honor the wishes of those who want the patient dead?

All that's needed for any type of investigation is suspicion. Otherwise, police detectives would never be allowed to investigate any suspicious event.

I suppose the fact that MS was never charged with a crime in the aftermath of TS's collapse is only more evidence of the conspiracy?

New rules. You're only allowed to investigate someone after they've been proven guilty.

I personally have no disagreement with anyone refusing medical care, or refusing life-sustaining treatment if it means a life of such diminished capacity that the person considers ultimately unacceptable; that is the individual's right.

Thank you.

I appreciate your post. It is good to know that there are some who can disagree reasonably.

Schiavo was never questioned by the police. I'd call that sloppy police work.

You're complaining about people obsessing over her death? You have as many posts as anyone on this thread.

Pot, kettle.

Okay, how's this for not twisting what you said.

In 562, you posted: "There is ZERO evidence that he did nothing to cause her collapse."

That's a nonsense statement. Nobody has to prove their innocence, because a negative is not proveable. You have to prove that he did it, and there is no evidence beyond wild suspicions that he did it.

It would seem so. And it's bad to even SUGGEST an event is suspicious.

You may suggest.

However, if you are an honorable man I would expect an apology when all this bluster comes to naught.

Uh, malakhi posted 562. Not me. And what he posted was:

There is ZERO evidence that he had any involvement with TS's collapse.

And you are frightening

Boo!

the 90% of Freepers that are concerned about Terri's case

I don't care if it is 99%. I formed my opinion on this case on the basis of the facts in the court records, not by going along with popular opinion on this website.

That is slanderous

Technically, it would be 'libel', assuming you could prove that KDD's remarks were intended for all those freepers, including those who, while being on the other side of the issue, have discussed the subject reasonably. As for the others, well, truth is an absolute defense against a libel claim.

not to mention an immature tactic

Please make a point of pinging me when you call anyone on your side on "immature tactics".

and now I find you are encouraging people who simply want to insult people here.

How am I 'encouraging' them? By posting my opinions and correcting their factual errors?

I am disappointed.

Hold on... let me check...

Nope, still don't care.
