The strongest political urge that nearly all white Americans have is the need to prove they are sensitive about race, ethnicity and to a lesser degree ...religion.


The urge to prove this is so strong that they stumble over themsleves to lap at the altar of political correctness.

True, and what's even more ironic is that she would not have even been on the list but for the success of the Senate compromise that most here vilified.

Actually I think in the last poll, most FReepers voted for Brown because she was a more high profile nominee and has already been confirmed by the Rats. Race and or gender had nothing to do with my vote. If the frikkin Rats are going to filibuster again, and do it to Brown, even that POS McCain better smoke 'em!
