Contrary to the rantings of leftists, it is primarily the Crusades, and not modern capitalism and media portrayals of barely clothed women, that is responsible for the entrenched view across Arab/Islamic lands, that the Christian/Western world is the enemy.
Not all the crusades were directed at the ME, and the Mongols and Columbus had a far bigger effect on Islam than the crusades ever dreamed of. If the Moslems are that concerned about the crusades, then they are hopelessly miseducated of history and misdirected.
In my experience in dealing with Arabs, the hate comes from sin, the sin of the leftist hollywood types and of the Jewish controlled Media ala NY Times and ABC.
