He wasn't concerned about moderation either when he likened our troops to Nazis...unless, of course, that IS Sen Durbin's idea of moderation...

There are good, solid conservatives available that are not hard right, said Mr. Durbin. I hope the president understands. HUH? Can someone get me a list of the hard left conservatives that might be qualified?

Speaking of Dickie, does anybody have pictures of him addressing the Illinois VFW, they just sent me a renewal notice apparently they forgot I resigned in disgust after they endorsed the Dead Red in MN. Would like it so I can send it back to them with an appropriate comments ala registered.
Any help would be appreciated.

What do they need a Constitution for when they have international law?

Anybody gives a damn as to what Durbin says, or means or didn't mean or re-interpreted.
Well it's not about international law that voters had in mind when electing a Senate majority and kicking out those sitting, filibustering, Constitution bending, Democrats.
Place a Supreme accd. to majority preferences and that includes property rights.

Back in the mid 90s, after the DemonRats lost the house (and blamed it on Limbaugh), a columnist noted that the media continued to interview Rats and publicize their views just as they had when the Rats were in charge.
The change in leadership produced no change in media coverage, except that the "House" and the "Senate" became "the Republian-led House" and "the Republican-led Senate."
Here we are, ten years later, and they're *still* doing it.
While I was happy to see the Rats lose the house and senate, I said at the time and still say that we really need to clean up the media and academia if we expect to get the country back on track.

I think that the president's nominee should be as moderate as Durbin's comments about our military in Guantanamo.

God, now I feel better. Our great Senator has let everyone know how he feels and that we better tremble at thought of him carrying through on his threats.
What a poor excuse for an elected official.
