The freaks wanted a civil war in the late '60's and early '70's. They (they called themselves the Party back then) also wanted a government made up of the "best" parts of Leninist socialism and Maoist communism. The aftermath of our withdrawl of troops from Viet Nam was bad enough, leaving millions to be butchered.

However, this is NOT Viet Nam. It is NOT another of France's imperialist messes that we're attempting to clean up. It is FAR closer to home. This is WWIII and we MUST win, otherwise Binny's artificially induced Armageddon scenario, where the earth is left to Evil will come to pass. BILLIONS will be butchered. A third part of the water will be spoiled and a third part of the green and growing things will be destroyed...that's a paraphrase, of course.
