Just damn!!!
Saturday I will be in the middle of nowhere central Texas at the Deer Camp.
Of course the good news is that there won't be any stories when we get back!
Y'all enjoy!
It's a weekly ritual here at Bubba Q Racing. At least the crew can look forward to some good eats and cold refreshing beverages. |
Any links you can provide?
I've got an old fridge in the garage, have to check the metal part out.
Sounds interesting.

It is actually one word too.
Giterdone!
LOL... I plan some very low impact yard work. You know, maybe deadhead the columbines, water the yucca and fescue. Trim the wisteria, maybe.
It is almost magic! I thought Eaker was a glock invention. Then to see the E on the board...
Deer camp trumps a whole lot of alternative activities... most, in fact. Enjoy your weekend!
there's a link in post 18 to some instructions/plans for a fridge smoker.
I'll post my progress and links to the thread.
Scuttlebutt.......
From what I [Hammond] was told the other day, an offer had been given to Truex, and there was a decision made then not to sign the DEI contract. It puts a lot of people back in the position of almost playing poker with checking and raising. Now the onus is back on DEI and whether or not they want to raise the ante to try to keep him in their camp."(FoxSports)(6-29-2005)

I'll be in the wilderness saturday myself. But will have laptop & cell phone as modem ta check in on the race!
Sorry no screen caps this week!
That's for the benefit of our yankee friends. Up north, syllables tend to get lost... you know... "Let's go eat." becomes "Sgueet." On the other hand, southerners tend to add syllables... I was walking through the Nashville airport watching a young mother chase her small child. His name was Chris. She hollered his name in at least three syllables... "Ker-eeee-isss." |
Or something.
I'm sure this is all worked out before hand but what happens if one of the Coca Cola sponsored drivers wins the race? I know if Jeff Gordon wins...no prob....but if Tony Stewart extends his win streak of one? Do Pepsi and Coke go into negotiations for a neutral winners drink? I guess when Chevy wins one of the Chrysler sponsored races the Mopar folks just look the other way but the winners drink is more problematic one would think.
Cell phones don't work within 50 miles of where we are going.
If we breakdown out there we have a plan. First thing on the plan is to shoot humblegunner!!!
