anyone who claims to read those words on that paper is deluding himself

There are people who make a living reading such. They are land surveyors, who are required to read poor copies of land deeds that most people would consider unreadable. All it takes is experience. Find an old land surveyor.

Oh, man...you're not saying that that guy is actually holding the DEED TO THE EARTH, are you? That could spell trouble...I hope we're not behind on the mortgage...

A young land surveyor responds "correct"!

I spend many hours deducing what would seem to be unreadable into viable text and with other text/word examples from the same document making sense of the obliterated is possible.

(L.S.I.T., I tested for P.L.S. in April, still waiting...)
