I do not like to accuse some one for such uncertainity, but after all the posts that follow this news and pro-Putin posts, it makes me think that jb6 is a propaganda agent of Putin's Nashi or the FSB. Nashi is a Pro-Putin group that objects against any type of criticism againt Putin, rumored to be said created by the government. This is similar to the China's Red Guard and modern days Internet police, and the Pro-Hugo group of Venezuela doing the same criticizing any journalist for criticism against him. Dictators around the world seem to engage in same type of activity.

Let's see, I can confirm JB6 was a US Army officer, Romanov an officer, and I was a noncommissioned army officer. All of us would have had top secret security clearances.

How many of you have been to Russia? I suspect that figure is none. How many of you have served in the American armed forces? Oh, I almost forgot, Tailgunner Joe is the Wal-Mart Warrior.

Let's see, Russia is selling Iran a light water reactor.

The EU wanted to give Iran a light water reactor if they would shut down the heavy water reactor they have.

The United States gave North Korea a light water reactor. Indeed, if I recall correctly it was two reactors on one site.

Personally, I believe none of these should have been given or sold to these rogue states. However, let's at least give the Russians credit for getting money for their sale, and condemn our hyprocisy.

Furthermore, while it is possible to convert the uranium in a light water reactor to weapons grade, it is extremely difficult, and has only been accomplished recently. Iran does not and will not have that capability.

I won't say much about demo in a public thread (as sensitive as such things are these days), and I don't have time to read an article before work. But was the building (in part or whole) blown apart, or were structurals cut to take it down?

"Do not the actions of the Russians deserve to be discussed on their own?"

That's the best point made. After articles that are critical of negative actions by Russian officials are posted, apparent advocates of those actions return exaggerated accusations against the USA and/or insults against those who posted the articles.

"Furthermore, while it is possible to convert the uranium in a light water reactor to weapons grade, it is extremely difficult, and has only been accomplished recently. Iran does not and will not have that capability."

That's misleading, and our Defense consultants disagree with that. What's really ridiculous is Putin's promise that the mullahs will return the spent fuel.

And as if that were not enough:

Russia wants to build more nuke reactors for Iran

Firstly, I served America on a Special Forces A-Team for years. I fought the communists, did you? If Russia were still communist I would take up arms against them today even though I will turn 63 next month. I have been to Russia. My wife and I have a second home in Volgograd. Those of you who say Russia is still communist are bald faced liars. Not only that, but the Russians more than anyone hate communism. I will grant you they do not have as good a government as America, but they are making the transition to a democratic form of government, and each time I travel there I see more and more evidence of that progress. Additionally, I see their economy growing at a fantastic rate. Moreover, I see the greatest revival and return to the Lord in modern history happening there. I pity those of you whose RELIGION is conspiracy theories. Yes, it is a religion of hate.

Irrelevant to the article, not even to sanity nor expertise in terrorism...oh, and ability to tell the truth and to be honest.

Obviously it is your rule and insults before any scientific discussion, let alone inquiry into the subject.

Why persecute us thus?

LOL! Having been in Russia and your "lady" owning property there is hardly lack of conflict of interest in support of Russia.

It's a noble risk for some, for others a sales scam, or, worse, a diversion of trust which goes in line with antiamericanism.

As for being in the armed forces, as if the common American militia man had lesser patriotic and heroic accomplishment and fervor.

This guy is an insult in a body, or a body in an insult, or a body of insults.

Lord have mercy on all of us.
