Funny you should say that. I did not say that directly but that is exactly what I am thinking. I see the church growth movement and the newer "multicultural church" movement as one of the most gospel derailing movements to hit the American church in 25 years. It appears that many churches feel as though they are not in the loop if they aren't following somebody's new book method. I hold to the idea that we must preach Christ crucified, and Him Alive now at the right hand of the Father. What is your experience with this church growth movement?

I can tell you that it hasn't been pleasant. Many churches are being deceived with this false doctrine, and the worst part is that they are the ones who should recognize it. I had dinner last week and this subject came up. A lady said "I don't understand what is going on" and I had to remind her of the scripture that in the last days, the very elect will be deceived. She still looked puzzled, and she was a Bible College graduate. I looked her in the eye, and said "HELLO? This is the END TIME! What part of that do you not understand?" I think I finally got the message home to her. People have been lulled into a total stupor. Many of those who attend these new "purpose driven" churches have blank stares not unlike the Scientologists.
