Every once in a while, something hits your desk and makes you wonder whether there really isn't an argument to be made for book burning.
Edward Klein's "The Truth About Hillary" ... Prurient in its focus, shameless in its methodology and vile in execution, this volume is a near-perfect example of what has come to be called "bio-porn," a particularly noxious subgenre of the polemic literature that nowadays infests our bestseller lists.LP>[snip]... The way to handle "The Truth About Hillary" responsibly is to give it no further notice, no wider discussion.
Silence.
If the serious media can't draw the line on this one, then there no longer are any lines to draw.

I bought the book last week at COSTCO and find it informative and well written.
Which is more than I can say for the reviews!
After that i'm going out and get one too.
I believe that's her commencement speech and what they're talking about is her thesis.
and makes you wonder whether there really isn't an argument to be made for book burning.
I don't agree. I think Klein, who is a solidly liberal Democrat, just hates Hillary. I think he sees a really pathological personality with the possibility of obtaining significant power and it just scares the Hell out of him.
Whether that translates to an effective book is another question entirely...
When she's queen, he'll be a duke.
hummm... interesting but no. i've read and heard it was a written paper for a class or something to do with school and now it's not to be released under any conditions...
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3883a222798a.htm check it out...
Hmmm. So when Hillary is confronted with some of these issues during a campaign, her staff can say, "that's old news -- covered in that gossipy trash book by Klein" ??? Is that the strategy? But if Klein is consciously part of this strategy, what does it say about him that he would risk his reputation with a book that liberals would universally pan?
That's interesting - isn't Costco a "blue" company - i.e., a Democrat contributor?
It's amazing. Hill is a lowlife, and Libs act as if sordid facts about her shouldn't be made public. What about the Bush family, the Reagans or half a dozen other conservative figures? They have no problem publicly drooling over baldfaced lies about them.
Yes, it's the speech- I'd swear somebody around here had a link to a transcript of that thesis, but I may be remembering wrong.
Appreciate the link- that's more than I currently have about it.
I appears that the Hillary forces have started the instant replay if this account is to be credited:
Hillary Spokesman: Don't Give Ed Klein Airtime - (Hillary "totally controls" networks!)

What was the name of the FBI agent they kept off Stephanopolis? Looks like they are going to be able to ignore Klein to death.
The left have no morals. His greatest aim is to get Hillary elected. He does not care about any damage to his reputation because he knows he is furthering the cause. To make true break with the left, one must repudiate it's aims and methods. Horowitz is a good example someone who's made the transition. From what I have read Klein is still a leftist. Hillary's sole purpose and utter obsession is to become President of this dying Republic. I trust nothing from anyone on the left. In the run up to 08 the world will witness the greatest propaganda machine in the history of Earth come forth and push to get her placed in office. The evil left will pull out all stops to place her in power. We will witness the greatest evil grab at the highest office in this land.
I will make this prediction. If she gains power, she will plan and carry out a detonation of a nuclear device on our lands for the sole reason to declare martial law and install herself as a defacto dictator. I truly fear if that evil woman gains power, our Republic will be ripped apart.
well, i appreciate your opinion.
you could be right.
personal hate for an individual plays into life and especially politics all the time.
thanks,

I know that. That's why I mentioned it.
Ah, but it's a great example of the Liberals favorite form of argument: Stick their fingers in their ears yelling "I'm not listening!"
"Serious media???!!!?"
HAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!
