Yes, looks like a '95 Camry to my eye. I have an '01 Camry and there's a trunk release latch INSIDE the trunk. Not sure if the '95's had a similar release latch. Not sure when Toyota introduced this potentially life-saving latch.

It doesn't matter what kind of latch the car had. That the trunk wasn't searched is beyond belief, just as the fact that alarms didn't go off in the heads of the cops looking for poor Jessica Lumsford when they saw the neighbors is beyond belief.

Where are the cop's instincts?
