Good morning.
It doesn't matter what kind of latch the car had. That the trunk wasn't searched is beyond belief, just as the fact that alarms didn't go off in the heads of the cops looking for poor Jessica Lumsford when they saw the neighbors is beyond belief.
Where are the cop's instincts?

That the trunk wasn't searched is beyond beliefI'm ambivilant about all those here who think people are negligent to have not looked in the trunk. If I walked up searching and looked in the windows, particularly if it was locked, I never would have thought to look in the trunk.
