The three forms of the .308 AR design, the Bushmaster, the Armalite AR 10 and the Knight's Armament SR 25 each use their own unique magazines - none are interchangeable. The Bushmaster is probably the most useful with regard to mags using the FN FAL units which are cheap and plentiful.

The Bushy uses FN-FAL mags, which can be had for $8.
