Boomtown What?
What an idiot! Why is it that folks like him think they can tell others what to do with their...
Nevermind,
I know.
Canada better be careful. I'm not entirely sure Geldof couldn't assemble a force necessary to defeat them militarily.
I don't like mondays...
Actually...I always liked that song "I don't Like Mondays" but he's a jerkoff anyway.
Fading?
Gee Canada,
you try to out=-liberal everyone with your pseudo-sophitry, and then the very libs you adore so turn against you. lie down with the dogs and, well, you know...
I don't have a problem with it, though. They are trying to raise money. I don't blame him for going balls to the wall. If you're gonna do it, might as well do it all the way.
Pretty bold for a guy whose songs only get played as bumper music on Jim Rome.
Sounds to me like old Bob is trying to extort money from Canada. Let's hope the PM has the courage to tell Bob where he can go.
Is Geldof the idiot who shaved his chest and eyebrows in The Wall?
The Prime Minister should walk up to that aging twerp and slap him so hard that Geldof drops to the floor. When he tries to stand again, slap him down again. Then apologise for losing his temper, start helping Geldof up, and slap him down yet again.
If Geldof is pissing off the smug, self-rightious Canadian media, he's OK by me.
Quoting from the article: "...you can throw all the money in the world at African poverty, but until such time as Africans themselves take control of their own destiny, throw out their corrupt and greedy leaders and commit to democracy, it wont change a thing."
BINGO! And it's about time someone had the courage to stand up and say so instead of yielding to the guilt trips laid on us "wealthy nations" by weenie socialists.
However, Prime Minister Paul Martin is prepared to cough up the balls of a canal horse!
