What good is another constitutional amendment? If the 5th amendment was turned on its head, what makes you think that the a**holes won't twist the next one as well?
Our government has turned into a gigantic hydra, devouring everything in its path.
WAKE UP AMERICA!
it would help define CLEARLY what "public" use is..(ie not giving it to someone else
"This is serious."
========================================
Yes it is sir.
Citizens will allow an illegal invasion to prevail on their city streets and even right up to the house right next to them.
But when it comes down to the oligarchy TAKING AWAY THEIR OWN HOUSE they finally get the message. They will stand and fight. They don't have anywhere else to go.
What we see unfolding reminds me of helpless rats on a sinking ship with no alternative other than to jump into a raging and bottomless storm.

Why not? They own it right? Doesn't this ruling mean my property taxes are rent?
::just some thoughts::
refresh my memory - didnt that happen in Philly in the early 80's ?
Buh buh America.
(We were defeated without a shot ever being fired.)
The Constitution is dead. Welcome to your tyranny.
Yep. Passing another 'law' when they don't uphold what is already PLAINLY written is rather like calling the fire department after the barn has burned down. IMHO.
What we need is ACOUNTABILITY (including imprisonment) for any civil servant who violates their sworn oath to uphold the Constitution and the principles on which it was founded.
'We will take down America without firing a shot' ::slamming shoe on podium::
Can't you see this play out in the great state of California and with the recent election of LA's new mayor? Systematic, deliberate takeover of private property to provide homes for new illegals, whatever. If Mexico likes it, they'll do it, and who knows if Arnold has the political power to prevent it. I wonder how many will flee the state before this eminent domain bulldozer gets going.
I was thinking the same -
whoops - that was only a gallon of acetone
AMERICA IS OUTRAGED.
WHERE IS PRESIDENT BUSH?
NOT A WORD.
Thanks for the ping!
Oh, they'll find some way to persuade them to leave.

Excellent picture -- I can hear them now...
"Get out of YOUR house, our tax revenues are down, so we need to build another WalMart here. There is a Red Cross shelter down the street where you can sleep."
If life were fair, the greedy Pfizer CEO and the mayor and city councilmen of New London should have to carry out these owners in front of the Fox News cameras. Instead, they'll order the government's paid enforcers to do the dirty work. I'm glad no one in our family is a cop. The sickening jobs cops do these days, like arresting the Christian children at Terri's hospice, make one wonder if there is anything they won't do for a paycheck.
I don't think so, maybe more like Ruby Ridge.
