Her sister and brother-in-law, who have been upset over the sex scandals in the Roman Catholic Church, are scheduled to start classes in oredr to join the Orthodox Church as well.

Folks shouldn't be so quick to assume that there are no 'clergy scandals' in the Orthodox Churches. They are there, they just haven't gotten the same press as the Catholic Church in America.

With the MSM on the warpath against Christians... IF the Orthodox( or the Baptists for that matter) had those problems as BADLY as the RC church... We would all be hearing about it LOUD AND CLEAR!!

The fact that most Eastern Orthodox priests are married and have families, sort of helps to keep a certain homosexual group out of the clergy.

I cannot go into all the details but the young lady and her sister who have left the R.C. have a close relative who was molested by somebody connected to their former Church. By the way, the family did NOT sue the Church. They simply left THAT Church.

Same with the Piskies. If it doesn't help the homos, it doesn't make the news.
