I told my brother and 3 friends tuesday night that the son killed her accidentally, told the father, and he is helping in the cover up to protect his son. I hope they both rot. I heard that Van Der Sloot has ties to the Kennedys?
Hardly. The car went unempounded for a week.
IMO the girl will never be found, so the island can continue to say "no crime here; come on down."
ORANJESTAD, Aruba - Aruban police on Thursday arrested the father of a Dutch teen already in custody in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, the teen's mother said.
"My husband was just picked up by police," Anita van der Sloot, referring to Paul van der Sloot, said in a telephone call to The Associated Press. "I don't know what to think."
Note to self--Do not send daughter to Aruba, or any third world Carribean island.
That will scare the truth out of the kid I hope.
Dear old Dad might also have been more heavily involved than a possible cover-up. He just might like young girls himself.
If true, let's hope the Aruban authorities don't try to pull a Vietnam/MIA-POW type coverup...
Any bets on how long before this is turned into a TV movie?
My guess (purely speculative).... the father was involved. His wife was out of the country.
Could the son have brought the young woman home and something happened to her there? And then the father called on a friend (who had access to a boat) and they took her body waaaaaay out in the ocean, so that her body could never be found.....
I should be writing novels.
Don't get too carried away, this could be something as simple as putting pressure on police to release the boys immediately after the initial questioning. It could be that the police are tired of taking the heat for not holding the young men and interrogating them.
Gambling debts?
I'd be surprised if it was that sinister and premeditated. I am more inclined to believe it was a sex gone bad story with a cover-up.
No way! I cannot contain myself anymore when I read this earth shattering news. This event has definitely changed the course of human history forever. (/extreme sarcasm).
"He is a suspect" is an indefinite charge.
He is more likely a suspect relating to obstruction than a suspect for the underlying act.
This will have a terrible ending for all.
There's also the news byte that the FBI are pulling some of their agents.
Not to be picky, but I thought this guy wasn't a judge...he was studying to be a judge, a judge in training or a clerk in the judiciary, or......?????
Dang...wish these media sources would get their stories straight. :)
