Ok... lets say Natalee was still alive, but out cold and Joran did not know how to get her back to the hotel. He starts calling ariund trying to find someone he knows to help him. He ends up calling dad, he comes and gets both of them. They put Natalee in the car and Dad decides to take Joran home first so he can get to bed and to school in the morning. Dad tells Joran that he will take Natalee back to the hotel strip area to find out where what hotel she is staying at (maybe he told Joran he was taking her back to the Holiday Inn).
Daddy decided to take advantage of this pass out young lady and he ends up killing her (or he discovers she is dead after he drops Joran off at home).
Daddy may have never came back home by time Joran had to catch the bus for school. (Remember Daddy cannot remember much about that morning, if went to work, if took Joran to school, if he woke up Joran for school)
They way I see it PVDS to me is more a suspect than the brothers are. He is at the same level as Joran.
PVDS may be getting special treatment since LE does not have anything positive on him yet. - Gotta go

Very good sleuthing. I have only lurked on this thread and haven't posted yet, but there is a angle that hasn't been mentioned (or if it has, I missed it).
First, let me say that Aruba is known for being owned by organized crime. It is close to Colombia and is an excellent place to launder drug money. I have heard the hotels are a front for laundering drug cash. In fact, the whole island has been associated with piracy for hundreds of years.
Secondly, on a small island like Aruba, where everyone knows everyone else and where, possibly, there are certain people that have illegal as well as legal doings...there is one thing the islanders don't talk about. They don't talk about the people who can get them killed. It is the proverbial elephant in the living room, the crazy aunt or alcoholic mother.
Thirdly, if the island is owned in part by organized crime money, it is controlled entirely by that financial interest. If the mob buys a minority interest in your company, they expect to behave and be treated like the majority shareholder.
Fourth (and most interesting of all)...we don't really know that Natalee was taken to the beach. That's what all the kids say...but they have all lied and their motives for lying have been mysterious. What if the motive of all their lies was to hide a truth that, if revealed, would have even greater consequence than the murder of an American touriste. And, if they were also lying about going to the beach. What are they trying to hide. What if the motive for lying is to cover for something and someone else. For example, I am beginning to wonder if Joren and the brothers (or without the brothers) might have taken Nat to a private home for a "rave." This home might have been owned by a friend of Joren's. At raves, ectasy and rohypnol are often present. Either, Nat was drugged and resisted...or OD'd...or got angry because drugs were being done or simply because of Joren's unwanted advances. Whatever, she got angry (which by the way is a side effect of Rohypnol) and someone took care of her. Whatever did happen, she was killed or sold...she was removed so she couldn't name names.
Fifth...the trail ends here. Except that Aruba is an island in the stream of drugs to America and Europe and also in the stream of money returning from the sale of those drugs.
As a resort of Dutch origin (where drugs are either legal or a blind eye is turned), it is the perfect place for a world of drugs to exist. Drug cash owns the hotels, the important real estate, the ports, the police and the lawyers...and the judicial system.
The real owners of Aruba will not be named...if they are somehow involved (if only because Nat died or saw too much at the home of a minion), everyone is going to lie just because that is what is done (if you want to live and you want your family to live).
I've been wondering whether or not Daddy is really the perp. Joran knows or suspects, but I have to wonder whether or not its Dad. Joran seems to me to be an out-of-control partier, but not a murderer. I think the Kalpoe brothers agreed to lie because they didn't know a murder was involved. And they were possibly intimated by Daddy's being a player in the legal system there. Possibly they are being held because they can supply more info, but I don't personally think they're responsible for Natalee's disappearance or the subsequent cleanup. I've wondered if Daddy is letting his son take the rap for his misdeeds.
