Yes... this would possibly help prove that Deepak was near his home and that Joran was somewhere else. I am taking it that police "think" that the brother's were at home, but since the brothers were willing to lie for Joran about the HI/Security Guard Story and since the brothers do not have a Alibi (only each other for alibi's) then they are still being held.) - My guess is that the 2 brothers will be set free next Tuesday and Joran will continue to be held and we may have PVDS back behind bars by then. Why the brothers lied for Joran could simply be that PVDS suggested to them that Natalee was seen with all the 3 of the boys getting into Deepak's car and that the Kalpoe brother's do not have a alibi. (like their mother being able to verify they were at home). Or the brothers may be neck deep is this, but the way things are looking they went home and stayed home.
