Does anyone recall MJ's statement that JvdS text messaged DK something to the effect, "I will get on line with you when I get home?"

Yes I do and yesterday David Kock briefly mentioned a online conversation had occurred between Deepak and Joran after Joran had sent the text message "I made it home" to Deepak. That text message was sent sometime between 3:10am and 3:20am (about 40 minutes after Joran called Deepak at around 2:30am or as late as 2:40am).

Timeline Recap...(per David Kock - Satish's Lawyer)

1:50am to 2:00am = Deepak & Satish drop Natalee & Joran off at the beach near the Marriott.

2:30am to 2:40am = Deepak gets a call for Joran (cell to cell - voice to voice)

3:10am to 3:20am = Deepak recieves a "I made it home" text message from Joran on his cell phone.

After 3:20am = There is a online conversation between Joran and Deepak. It is unknown what time this online conversation started, only that it was after the Joran sent Deepak the "I made it home" text message.

brigette--your recaps of the timeline and accompanying events on this thread are excellent. It helps us to get a hold of the sequence of events and who did what. (Theoretically).

How thorough was the search of the Van der Sloot property? I'm thinking of that guy in Oregon who killed his two 13 year old neighbors a couple of months apart. Both bodies were hidden right on his property, which police searched several times without finding them.

Also, did they search the property of VDS neighbor who ia "away"? The ones with the monkey? These internationalists spend time "away"--back in Holland or wherever--for three or six or nine months at a clip. Perhaps Joran and the father took advantage of the neighbors' absence to hide a body somewhere on their property--even though it is mighty close to home.

Whose to say, the text message of *I made it home*, isn't a code for something else. I would think Juran and Deepak are computer literate enough to realize their text messages are most likely recorded by their ISP.

I know I'm sounding like a tin foil head, but what the heck. :)
