Watch it again if you can. It's just too far fetched, IMO, for Deepak to think:

"I'll exonerate myself by telling this security guard that I had nothing to do with the girl's disappearance, but will tell him that the VDS family ordered us to stick to an alibi blaming the security guards. Then, MAYBE a month later Mickey Johns will be interviewed by someone and this news will eventually leak out!"
