VDS = Van Der Sweat
I think Van Der Slug is more fitting. Slimy, lives under rocks, comes out at night, makes a mess of everything.
I was just thinking last night that some of the Indian/Surinamese pronounce his name Urine, and I decided I would start saying that. I hadn't started yet when I read it here this morning.
I hadn't heard Van Der Sweat, but I love it. I was one that was giving him a break on that until Beth said she had never seen a man sweat that much in her life. It was like the telltale heart. It was a "tell" -- that's one man who should never play poker. Also, I figured it was hot, then I find out it never gets over 85 there.
I woke from a dream last night thinking "the grandmother... have to look into the grandmother". I don't know why I thought that. It was certainly Urine's grandmother I was thinking of... Anybody know who she/they are? Still living? Could have been Godmother I suppose, but that's not what I was thinking. I don't know why I dreamt that.
