So if Deepak was at home when Natalee came up missing (approximately 2:30 a.m. 5/30 why did Croes have to provide Deepak with an alibi.

You're right TexKat. Croes is suppose to be a friend of Deepak, not Juran. However, there might be a link between Juran and Croes that has not been revealed, as of yet. You'd think Juran, being the big party man, would have spent time on the Tatoo.
Fox is reporting the Croes alibi was for the brothers. Which still doesn't make sense. Why put yourself in the middle of a missing person's case - unless you are FORCED to do so??
She didn't know what time they came home. They weren't home when she fell asleep - I think it was around 1am, and when she woke up sometime later, their bedroom doors were closed so she knew they had come home. Sorry, I can't remember what time she woke up, but it was several hours later, I think.
