The complicity to kidnapping charge intrigues me. You cannot "kidnap" a dead body. Does this mean that Paul VDS was involved in the crime(s) while Natalee was still alive? If so, what part did he play?
Possibly it might mean that PVDS knew that his son and natalee planned to meet later that night at C & C.
perhaps the Aruban definition of "kidnapping" is different than ours...seems most of their terms are different....
From what and how I have heard the suspicions of PVDS and the rest I am not putting too much weight into it. My understanding is that this is being used in order to hold them.
complicity to kidnap? Maybe after she was kidnapped, taken against her will at some point, and before she was dead, maybe unconscious or near death, he helped conceal her from the public and didn't get help. And then she died and so he was a party, by concealing her, to kidnapping and murder. \
