When I used to sneak out, the car of a friend would be waiting a couple of blocks away. But that's just me.
It means that this could be a massive coverup by people who have long been covered. Sex, drugs and gambling.

I sneaked out one time late at night from my cousin's home during a family visit. We were too young to know anyone that drove, so we walked a couple of blocks and met up with some of her girlfriends. We were gone about an hour. I'll never forget turning that last corner on the walk back to her house. EVERY LIGHT IN THE HOUSE WAS ON! Caught like a mouse in a trap. I never did that again.
Listening to the video replay AvdS says that the family computer was seized by LE. She says it doesn't have any locks so they could see what the kids were doing. Is she saying she knows of their tickle profiles? This poor woman is either in complete denial and/or hasn't a clue what's gone on. Perhaps JvdS also used computers at the cyber cafe where Depak works.
Not surprisingly, PvdS's business laptop was also taken.
"Maybe there is a sex tape"---or two. They've got the three computers as well, I believe. The plot sickens.

More importantly, I don't think dad would have a problem with JvdS hitting the clubs. He condoned his underage gambling and drinking, is seems.
I've noticed that you seem to be 'in the know' about Natalee's family, kcvl. I read where you called someone out on another post for reporting something false about the family the other day. Makes me wonder if you're a close family friend or possible relative. Care to tell?
Beth admitted last night that she almost couldn't get out of bed yesterday morning. I can't even imagine the living hell her family is going through. In one of the interviews Natalee's dad, Dave, gave last night, he indicated that he thinks they're mostly looking for a body at this point. It's as if he's resigned himself to her probable death. I'll keep praying that this will soon be resolved and that Natalee will be found, one way or the other.

I wonder what neighbors of the VDS's heard that night...barking dogs? Slamming car doors? About the Kalpoe brothers, and that interview of Greta's with Mrs. K. was very sad. She seems such a decent, hardworking, loving mother. Anyway, the Kalpoe bros. could have been manipulated by J that they had to help him dispose of the body, etc., because if he was caught, they'd be accessories. I think they'd believe anything he told them, after all, his father is a judge.
As for their picking him up that night and ferrying him and N from bar to beach to wherever, Joran is 6'4" at least. And for some reason, people tend to do favors for really tall, big men. (They even get promoted more than shorter men.) Maybe the Kalpoe bros. were flattered by Joran's casual attentions. If so, they sure got more than they bargained for.

That would explain how Natalee got to the home, if indeed true, and why LE seized both vdS vehicles.

It's possible, if there was a ransom and it was indeed paid, that Natalee has not been returned to the Holloways. Hence the call for Texas Equus and a change in Beth's positive attitude.
I recall that witness. He said he tried to get help and was ignored. Too bad he wasn't walking a big German shepherd that night. He could have let the dog loose, and if that girl was N, she'd be back home, safe and sound. Wiser, too.
If N ended up at the VDS house that night, oh my.

If Mrs. VDS had been home that night, well, she'd probably have gone along with whatever her husband said, unfortunately. Aha, just now on Fox, a former FBI agent says he thinks it'll be another week or ten days before we hear anything of substance.

KC, it was really hard listening to Beth last night talking to Alan Colmes. She said yesterday she really didn't think she could even get out of bed. I'm so sorry for what that family is going through. I hope they all know someday how much we were rooting for them, and that they take some small measure of comfort from it.
