Do you think she might know what is a "Fruitbuzz?" Actually, I don't think she knows "jack" ,but likes the face time on camera. NSNR
Amen to that and prayers do produce miracles. NSNR
First, what is "CTV?"
This was the first time I'd seen or heard anything Rudy Croes has said. (Boy, was that a funky beard, or what?) I wasn't very impressed with him, but I may have already been biased against him because of what we read on Thread 2 about Rudy's father and his involvement with the Sicilian mafia. Anyway, I wouldn't bet a plug nickel on the truth of anything he has to say. Maybe it's the beard. ;-)
It's interesting to me that he has a reputation of being "unreliable." Someone gets that reputation by giving out false information. People who are attempting damage control often give out false information before they think things through thoroughly enough to come up with a good story. Regardless of whether or not he knows anything about Natalee's disappearance, if those mafia claims are true, then I'd bet he's awful nervous about his drug smuggling operations being uncovered in all this.
For some reaon, when I watch those Arbuan government people talking, I keep thinking of that character Martin Short use to play on Saturday Night Live, the one that was sweating all the time and being interviewed by a "Mike Wallace" actor. I can never tell whether they are spouting the government line or covering their butts.
I agree with you about the Aruban government people and their level of comfort when on camera. But I can't figure out if it's because they're covering up something, or if they're afraid of becoming another unlucky recipient of a Columbian necktie. Probably both!
I wish Fox would bring Mark Thurman down to Aruba. If he could get on the case, he would figure all this out in no time. :-)
I've been trying to figure that out myself. Rudy Croes said his meeting with PVDS occurred "a week before this happened" (paraphrasing), if I'm not mistaken. When did PVDS come back to Aruba from overseas? And why did he come back alone?
Thailand is pretty much out. Women are so cheap there. The Saudi's are the ones that shop for women because they can take them behind the walls never to be seen again.
Regarding Thailand, does anyone remember how one of the Aruban characters had a lot of the same website "Friends" as this older, white-haired, probable-pedophile man in Thailand? All the "Friends" they had in common on their respective websites were very young and looked underage to me.
But you're right, judging from this older man's website, young girls can be bought for a dime a dozen in Thailand. Sickening.
Well, that's not exactly something you want to tell everyone on national TV, I suppose. ("No, Paulus is not a judge. He's a failure and a flunkie.") Maybe he kept on waiting for PVDS to tell everyone himself? I don't know. Good question.
He obviously hasn't had time to deal with it or he wouldn't have misled Greta during their interview the other day. Of course, I guess that's not exactly something a person would be eager to tell the world on TV, is it? I almost feel sorry for him. (I said "almost." No flames, people!)
You also said, "This whole ordeal may be one heck of a circle jerk, made to look as if an honest attempt to get to the truth has been accomplished."
It all depends on how corrupt their police chief is, whoever that is. If he's on the take (or even complicit with criminal activity of some type himself), then they'll have to find a "fall guy" or hope they can wait out Natalee's Mom and Greta. :)
Another poster said June 23
I noticed that. And some man they had on yesterday was big-eyed and never blinked! Maybe it's bad facelifts.
I read Brian's "three kids in the trunk story" early saturday and it was in his May list. Not in June.
Greta has done an awesome job on this case.
Greta has the number one news show on tv. She's staying with Fox News. She's even beating O'R.
Please go seek Brian for answers, and when the two of you have the case solved, then come back and see us. Until then please take the nonsense elsewhere.

The First Independent State under Mafia Control
"Jossy Mansur is the owner and chief editor of the biggest newspaper on the island, "Diario". ""When I read an article in Diario, I know what will be the next action of the government","says Hendrik Croes, adding that the Mansurs create a climate of fear and intimidation on Aruba. Their newspapers force others off the market. Furthermore, ""their annual income is bigger than the yearly budget of the government. And you may guess how they make that kind of money."""Jossy Mansur is not impressed claiming that accusing people of drug trafficking and money laundering ""has become a political tool to discredit them." (75) Jossy Mansur acts as the family's mouthpiece, Ruben and the elder Alex are the patriarchs, and Elias 'Don' Mansur is the family's whizz-kid. Elias graduated at Notre Dame University, and was Minister of Economic Affairs in Eman's first cabinet. As representative for the Free Trade Zone entrepreneurs in a mixed Dutch-Aruban commission he has to recommend measures to tighten regulations in the FTZ to prevent money laundering and contraband, together with Dutch government officials. Read this article, then rip it up, throw it away and never tell anyone you read it... it gave me a big chill. http://www.tni.org/archives/tblick/aruba.htm
Will bring back memories of the Bride.
