In that call, according to Deepak Kalpoe's statements, Joran Van Der Sloot told him he had left Holloway on the beach and was walking home. About 40 minutes later, Kock said -- about the time it would take him to walk home -- Joran Van Der Sloot text-messaged Deepak Kalpoe to tell him he had arrived.

I guess I'm missing something....sounds more like Joran setting up an alibi. Why would he have to TM Deepak to tell him he was home...Joran doesn't seem to answer to anyone else. What am I missing....

The "scuffle" was a shouting match between Joran and Thomas Twitty. Yes, Twitty. Thomas Twitty is Natalee's step-cousin!!!

I do see this as important. I suspect Thomas sensed Joran as a bad character. Men can spot men who have issues just as women can read other women.

Ha! I knew he'd be the weak link. He was sweating too badly during the interview. He was projecting when he said he hoped joran would stand up to things. It was himself he feared would be wanting.

Humming - I don't think you are missing anything - I don't think Joran is that bright to start setting up an alibi this early in the morning on his own - This tells me that Daddy already knew something and was building a alibi for Joran.

I wonder if they can determine where he was on the island and which CP Tower picked up the signals - the problem is there may only be 1 or 2 CP Towers on the island.
