From my earlier link,
"The Committee, in most cases, advises the candidates to take part in training as substitute judges for about a year. If the candidate is deemed incompetent during that training period, the appointment procedure will then cease, and if deemed eligible, the court may recommend his or her appointment to the government."
Right, one of those attorneys said that he had worked with him when he was the HEAD of the Public Prosecutors office!
I wonder if ANYBODY down there tells the truth about anything.
That being said, it does worry me that he was involved in the very "area" that is investigating this, with his former co-workers/staff defending his son, and probably him.
Especially since the "defense attorneys" aren't included in the proceedings and evidently aren't being given whatever evidence they have because they say this is a "special case."
Well, I'm not surprised. That is where the money is made these days. Everyone suing someone all the time.
Well somebody got to do it!!
the holloways must be having a very hard time knowing who they can trust. i wonder how they settled on the Vinda woman to represent them?
I believe it's Deepak, the older one. But don't quote me on it!
We need a flowchart, don't we? :-)
Deepak, the younger one.
The one that's close friends w/joran.
They were classmates.
Thank you moneywrench... I didn't know how to explain it. He was a sit in judge (maybe they are called sitting judge over there) and person in training to be judge.
Well, thank God that's ALL you found to post. The thought was bad enough without purdy pictures!
unlike a number of freepers who are always lawyer bashing, i generally don't use the term ambulance chaser, but it really does fit the bill for him! : ) i am not saying it judgmentally, just as a point of info.
:)
no... not a fill in (a sit in on cases to learn - they have a supervisor watching over them and advising them, before a final verdict or ruling is made.)
Do you know if he failed the test (written) or was he deemed incompetent in his training period? Or was his training the test?
Either way, what a huge disappointment.
Aruba is a suburb of Caracas.
And nobody there tells the truth.
I am a bit curious as to why
they are bringing in a judge
from Cozumel.
Okay, brigette; I missed that part of what he said to Greta.
(Why can't these people use the Queen's English, where words MEAN what they mean?)
So does this mean that PVDS was automatically cut off the payroll or does his income continue until they find a place to put him? Inquiring minds want to know?
So "incompetent."
Works for me.
i thought it was Curacao and that it was to avoid any appearance of impropriety and favoritism towards the arubans, for the very reasons that Howlin mentioned. VDS worked with everyone down there, they need someone who doesn't know him to decide the case.
Isn't Deepak the older one? YIKES!
