Does anybody remember what the message was that Joran supposedly sent to Deepak on Yahoo Messenger or email that night?I don't know if this is widely reported by anyone else but from an article by Clint Van Zandt on June 15:
One unhappy island
The brothers have said that they received an e-mail from Van Der Sloot the evening that Holloway disappeared, perhaps after they had left Van Der Sloot and Holloway together, location unknown. Because of this the authorities will have a time line from the time the four of them left the local bar to the time of the e-mail, a time line that needs to be filled in.

They can't toss Greta out of the hotel. Everybody just needs to double up in the rooms...like at Mardi Gras!

Oh no, not the "unhappy miserable woman" routine again. It's awful being a "kept" woman, huh Howlin. Life's a beach!
Rushing to door at Aruban Courthouse...on FOX..

you can't have it both ways... you just were posting about beyond the sea coming in here.
I see people who change the topic with one post and then with 20+ posts to follow by numerous people that takes the thread off topic and then there are people who post crap like beyond the sea did and people who think they have to reply to beyond the sea, again pulling the thread off topic again.
beyond the sea posted to me, not anyone else to start with. I did not respond to beyond the sea because I know what he/she is doing.
I don't feel like I have to point that out to anyone on the thread, thus pulling the thread away from the Natalee Case once again.

Jug said that the manager of the HI made Paulus stay outside the hotel. Wonder why?
To: maggiefluffs
Geraldo has to have a scoop to hype his show. Wonder what BS he comes up with this time.
The key question is what will he be wearing. Geraldo is a very stylin' kind of reporter! I'm kind of excited about his wardrobe but Greta really needs to still be the point-man until this is over.
I mean, fair's fair....

I can do it (make it all pretty and in html), but I know that I cannot back up any of it because everything is hearsay (even through the media) and I would be called on it once again.

Ewwww!
I'm liking what Greta is doing in Aruba, but what a visual.

I appreciate this thread. I have not been able to keep up because I had grandkids here all this week.
Speaking from experience, ALL threads go off-topic occasionally. It is best to expect that and have some strategies for getting people back on message.
Because this thread is so long, people like me are going to pop in and out checking the current happenings. Few will bother to read the whole thread before posting, as I do. Hence the questions.
I wouldn't let it distract from the excellent work you are doing. Thanks again. (Sorry if this annoys you as being off-topic.)

I am with you, brigette. Too many people are getting off-topic, building theories based upon other unverified speculative "facts".
From reading all the threads here, and on two other well know forums, what I get so far is that there are two different possible causes for Natalee's disappearance.
One, more probable, she was the victim of drinking/drugs gone wrong, and her body was disposed of. Time passing made it harder to figure out where, etc...
Second, perhaps the one Beth is clinging to, but more improbable, a kidnapping for some nefarious purpose. Whether the 'Sloots were involved with it or not, no-one knows.
Just my effort to clarify the situation, whether I have helped or not, no clue.

strategies for getting people back on message.
Yes... I have one and that is to post that FR link to the thread. I did this yesterday when the 2 boys where found dead and still people took an offense to it. I did it just like this...

Considering that howlin enjoys a lovely lifestyle, it's starting to sound like someone on this thread (not you, of course, spectre) is rather jealous, eh?
