I thought somebody had mentioned NH rented a cell phone on the island because hers didn't work there..maybe one of the Holloway party had called the number when BH was at the house Tuesday morning and she heard it ring

It is very important that we know PVDS had seen and may have had verbal contact with Natalee and Joran inside the HI Casino Bar.

So it is not like PVDS had never seen her before. Now we know he did see her (possibly with his son) and he may have talked to both of them inside the casino.

Deepak's mom said tha Deepak was at work (the Internet Cafe) and he has to sometimes stay later to close up. If you ever worked at a place where that is your job, you know you never leave at the same time, sometimes it is a long time before you actually finish closing. Anyway, according to Deepak Joran had called him and asked for a ride (Deepak's mother called it a "lift") to C&C's. Joran was home, Daddy had taken him home at about 11 we believe. So, maybe Joran just had to wait till Deepak was done, and then finally they made their way to C&C's, since Joran had agreed to meet Natalee there, according to Deepak's statement. Again, though, that is all in question. But that would explain why they got there so late.

Prayers for Natalee (new report is that the authorities now believe she is dead - OMG) (deep breath now, OMG) for her family and all families in this terrible tragedy. May He give the innocent strength, and motivate the guilty to come forward and tell the truth!

I am confused, can you help? Where did that information come from...I keep looking back and I can only find your mention of learning it, not from where. It would be frightening if PvdS did meet her, of cours, but if he just "saw" her there that would not seem so suspicious. You are right, could be significant, if meeting Natalee is true! Who reported that?

That overlooks the point that Deepak did not drive to work. He loved his car and would not park it at work. His brother came to pick him up just prior to closing.

If this is the case, then the guy is just plain STUPID! And he's a judge?

That's true. But recall that he was released from Jail, and had maybe 12 days to clean up his tracks before they finally came to his home (apt) to confiscate his computer.

As for the cell phone, yes, they can be rented there.

Not really, he could have called his brother, told him to come to get him, and then they both went onto pick up Joran when his brother got him at work. That is the way his mother explained it. She said Satish took the car to get Deepak. Evidently that was routine. She said Deepak did not like to have his car at work, he was protective of it, as you correctly stated.

Another thing I don't buy into is that Joran had a curfew when Mommy was in Holland. Joran may have been out and about again at 3:00am Tuesday morning when his Father tried to call him and told the group (twitty's & police) at the VDS home that he was at the casino.

Some people think Joran was in his apartment (which is on the VDS property) at 3:00am Tuesday and that Daddy lied and said he was at the casino and sent everyone off to the casino to look for him. This might be the conflict and one reason why the father has been arrested. How can the father say he snuck out after 11pm on Sunday (Monday morning) but then pretend to call Joran at 3:00am in the morning on Tuesday and say he is at a Casino. We know taht PVDS told the Twitty's and the police that JVDS was at a Casino tuesday morning.

There is no video of Joran being at the Casino at 3am on Tuesday. So this may be why Beth thinks Natalee was there at 3:00am on Tuesday. Maybe she thinks they were buying time to stash her body better on the VDS property, in the event police demanded to search the home that night.

the point is if Daddy says Joran had a curfew, then why would Daddy say he was at the casino when the twitty's and police showed up at 3am on Tuesday.

Did Daddy really pick Joran up at McD's on Sunday night at 11pm or was Joran allowed to come and go as he pleased while Mommy was away? Did Daddy make up the 11pm pick-up to cover his own arse?

it is also possible that Pops didn't want his wife to find out that he was out gambling all night..that could explain the inconsistencies in his story and the three stops at the ATM

GRETA - Said that it clearly last night that JVDS, PVDS and Natalee were in the HI Bar together. Greta was in the bar last night and the bar looks like a small side bar.

I have no reason to lie about any of this. I have been following this case and I follow and catch details often that most people would not pay attention to.

If not I have it on my TIVO and I will try to go through her timeline she did last night word for word when I have time.

Her timeline was done at the end of the show where she walked it out as she was telling it. The side bar was small like you see on the side of restaurant.

I think if you go back and check the mother never said anything about Satish calling Deepak. Rather, Deepak worked until 11 PM each night, and Satish was there to pick him up. We can deal in "could haves" forever, and that is nothing more than endless speculation.

I never inferred you were telling anything but the truth. Why did you think that???? I know you have been on top of this, and admire your diligence. I asked for your help in locating the source so I could interpret myself, which a lot of us are wont to do. Don't take offense, I was not challenging you. You seem too dedicated, and I am certainly not one to judge anyone's reasons or work, or definitive statements.

I just could not find real reference that PvdS and Natalee had actually "MET".

Greta saying they were in the bar together is a bit vague, lots of people were in the bar at the same time, I am sure. Actually meeting, such as being introduced...in conversation, etc. would be more specific, and worrisome, I agree. But just being there at the same time does not raise real alarms in my mind. JMHO

After all, remember, it is also reported that Natalee met a man on the plane who she talked with throughout the flight. He was going to the same place. He has not been found, and there is no record of his return trip. That has also been posted. So, she met other men also, on that trip, it appears.

Well get yourselves to S.C. immediately. Our neighbors pool is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen..negative edge pool that looks from up high over a lake. Lots of stone and a babbling brook look that leads to the pool. Very Zen-like.

Not that the guests will be Zen-like :-)
