While the opinion by Justice John Paul Stevens said that a local government could not take homeowners' property "simply to confer a private benefit on a particular private party," the New London. Conn., project involved in this case was "a carefully considered development plan." While the resulting project would not be open for use by the general public, the Court said, there is no literal requirement of that outcome.

Plenty of people will say this is fine, just as plenty of people (Freepers, no less) say this (Woman stopped at Logan with $46,950 sues DEA) is fine. Anybody standing against it will be in the fringe, and treated accordingly.

Yes, I often think about that when I see pictures of "my" farmer general in Omaha. It’s a large bronze depiction holding a shotgun in one hand a copy of the Constitution in the other. He is looking up at the sky in defiance of God after his father was killed. (At least his name isn’t Sparticus or William). "



So, this is how the war starts between cities and those outside the cities. Take the land so people in the cities can have food when the farmers go on strike. I know of many who decided to turn the wheat to hay. Due to the low price.

Or,, for what ever reason they can think of. Now we become the enemy.

Time for what?

This ballot box vs. ammo box choice is no choice at all.

Best to do things quietly. If your property becomes a target, find a key target and take them down. Smear them. Cause their marriage to fail. Get their relatives fired. Get dirty.
