Yeah, yeah, I know, it's not the dog's fault. . .

It's the kid's and mother's fault, for living there.

It's the headline reporters fault. I'm sure they meant Golden Retriever.

How many more innocent, unsuspecting victems of these totally fearless and unpredictably violent hell-hounds must there be before something is done? These critters want to kill you more than Osama Bin-Laden!

PETA is obsessed to the point they can't see the trees from the forest. The owners of these animals are blinded by their emotions. These beasts are dangerous and unpredictable! Licensing of animals needs some attention from the "wannabe President Legislators who are off trying to set foreign policy....Sorry, I digress.

Now let me see. Stock dogs work livestock, hunting dogs hunt, blood hounds track people. What does a Pitt Bull do that is a benefit to mankind? The answer is "absolutely nothing!!!!!"
One more time. These dogs are bred and have been bred for hundreds of years to bite and fight. That is what their instincts tell them to do, and that is what they will do in a stressed situation. They kill more children in this country than any other dog, yes they are truly #1 as a killer of babies too. Those are the true and factual published numbers. I'm just glad that this child was rescued before the Pitt Bull killed her. Yes, read the story, that is exactly what happened!!! If it had not been for the child's mother and the two men passing by this little girl would be dead!!!!!
I'll bet the owner of this Pitt Bull says the same thing as the rest, Not my dog, it's sweet and gentle and would never bite anyone. And then they kill!!!!! I think everyone who owns one of these dogs should be required to carry a ten million dollar liability policy. If you want a pet, get a lab or a beagle.

Home owners insurance providers will stop covering dog bites if you own a pitbull. My bet is that san fransisco and surrounding communities will make a owner apply to own a pitbull with an astronomical fee, so that they will be able to litigate against owners of pit bulls that do not have a permit.

There has been a lot of these stories as of late. Like every other day it seems. I don't think it is a planned strategy of any group..its just so crazy...everyday another attack on the local news....I have 2 golden retrievers , they wouldn't hurt anybody. These pit bulls are so unpredictable, I would never want one in my home, hell I don't want one in my neighborhood!

Here's a way to address this issue: Impose strict, absolute liability for a dog proven to be dangerous, the same level of responsibility one would assume for keeping a lion or a tiger. And keep records of repeat-offending dog owners. A lot of these clowns have "small d***" syndrome bad. If they had to face heavy fines and criminal records for negligently keeping a dangerous dog, the better number of them would think twice.

"A lot of these clowns have "small d***" syndrome bad"
The irony is that their insistence on keeping these dogs and then against all logic blaming everyone/thing except the breed just advertises their problem.
