Is that a mole, or a really horrific zit?

Insane and fast becoming a control freak. I saw an interview with him recently and he began responding to a question about whether he insists on other actors getting involved in Scientology with a "I will not tolerate . . ." - then the video was clipped or the reporter cut him off (I'm not sure), but that told me all I need to know about his current mental state. I guess it's safe to assume that Cruise will not be appearing in any Mel Gibson movie...

Well, now, you say they lie. Have you ever gotten you info first hand by talking to them? Or have you gotten it third-hand through the rumor-mill?
I have had enough personal experiences with Scientology and have done other research on them to know they are a lying cult. Scientology is famous for their lying, misleading nature. If you try to get "first hand" information from them, you will just get lies, so what's the point?
Are you saying nobody can know what the cult of Scientology is unless they ask them directly?

Curious? Actually, no, I'm not curious. "Curious" presupposes that there's some question about whether Tom Cruise is nuts or not. I think he's pretty much settled that one the last few months.

Well, the first AND only thing I've seen her in was "The Wonder Boys". I was smitten!! She sure looked better than your photo!!
Anyway, I think I'll stay with my wife.

"tom cruise is not straight"
You mean you BELIEVE he's not straight. But you don't have evidence. And if you BELIEVE he's gay, you must be up to speed on the Hollywood rumor mill...which is odd because you said you don't care about Cruise....and that Hollywood should "burn." Why invest time in things you don't care about?
To: Blue Turtle; RuthannaK
a damn good gentleman throughout this whole press bash.True enough regarding the media attention on him and Holmes and their romance. But not otherwise. Far from gentlemanly. Tom's bizarre - and out of the blue - comments on Brooke Shields' post-partum depression raised eyebrows and showed a little of the 'real' Tom, the Tom influenced by Scientology, and their beliefs on illness and medicines. He made very un-gentlemanly remarks about her just prior to and during the time of the whole Katie-romance extravaganza.
To: Big Guy and Rusty 99
I'm also curious as to how you know Cruise is not straight.

Nuts or what? Nuttier everyday, imho, and barely concealing it (fired his pr guy).
To: GunnyHartman
Much worse than sociology majors. The thing is -- there is only one reason to go into acting (or any of the arts) and that's because the person doesn't have a choice. Not only are they unsuited for anything else, but they despise the idea of doing anything else.

I agree about Robert Duall.
IMHO the best American actors include Stephen Lang, Mel Gibson, and Jim Caviezel.

"Assume he did write for a Nazi journal...does that make all psychiatry, as practiced today, 'Nazi Science' as Cruise claimed?"
It makes Jungian psychiatry suspect, in the same manner that the writings of Margaret Sanger make Planned Parenthood suspect.

"I'll take that as a no."
That would be classic Oppositional Defiant Disorder on your part, if you do.
To: RegulatorCountry
